Accessibility
Odie's Travel wants everyone to be able to plan and join a trip, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, magnification, or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA on every page: travelers' trip links, shared itineraries, sign-in, and the tools organizers use. We check new work with automated accessibility testing and by using the site with a keyboard and a screen reader.
What we know isn't perfect yet
- Maps are visual. Every place on a map is also listed in text next to it.
- Photos and descriptions of hotels, restaurants and activities come from outside sources (such as Google, TripAdvisor and Airbnb), and their own pages may not be fully accessible.
- Some text written by trip organizers or suggested by our AI assistant may not always be as clear as we'd like.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on the site is hard or impossible for you to use, we want to know, and we'll help you get what you need in another way while we fix it. Contact the organizer of your trip, who can reach us directly, and tell them the page and what happened. Organizers can also use ? Help → Send feedback in the app.
We aim to reply within 2 business days.
